Creatures Pandora

Creatures Pandora is a special crate used by Kief Phonogolos to seal his out of control Creatures. While he succeeded in making numerous powerful monsters that he'd hoped would someday surpass the dragon races, the current ones were mere prototypes, and the one thing they truly failed at was obediance. He couldn't control them. So, he began to use the Creature's Pandora as an added method of control.

He transformed the mysterious elements that he'd created the creatures with into parasitic forms, which were then fused to the corpse of whatever creature they were to be sealed with. The remains would then be sealed inside of a Creatures Pandora, to be stored for later use. However, when the boxes were opened, the elements would rapidly consume the body, becoming a brand new Creature.

While this gave him the option of containing the Creatures, it still did not equate to actual control. Over the years, after Phonogolos was transformed into a creature and thus no longer able to watch over his mansion, trespassers into the mansion would mistake the Creatures Pandoras for crates of valuables, and smuggle them out of the building. Eventually, several Creatures would escape into the wild, creating the setting for Volume 3 "Ghost, Sleep On My Chest" where this item is featured.
