The Kingdom of Mebrenst

The Kingdom of Mebrenst is described as a coalition of aristocratic families based in what is arguably the largest walled city on the continent of Kiesalhima. It far outclasses the other cities in almost every category, from the size of its military to its financial resources.

Overview

The Royal Family

Mebrenst is overseen by the Royal Family. The royalty governs over several powerful organizations and groups, including the Knights and the Fog Falls. In fact, when it comes to the Fog Falls, the King is the only person who knows its exact location. The castle also holds an army of court sorcerers known as the Thirteen Apostles.

Relations

Due to how rapidly sorcerers can climb in power, even as an individual, the Royal Capital is particularly sensitive about their actions. This includes attempting to govern all things relating to sorcerers, and dividing their organizations as much as possible so that they'll remain manageable.

Sometime in the last 50 years, the Kingdom (along with the Aristocratic Federation) seized the armies of Kimrak. This put Kimrak in a position where it could no longer carry out its war against the sorcerers, which had ended in absolute failure during the Sand War.
