This false version of the Demon King is a Celestial Doll created by the Nornir, intended to portray the role of the Demon King Swedenboli in the play of "The Demon King".
Personality
The Demon King acts rather nonchalant about almost all matters. Though he, as well, passes judgement on the worthiness of sorcerers visiting the theater, he doesn't seem to have any qualms sitting around and conversing with them for a while. However, he and the Passage Keeper often debate if there is any purpose left in their existence, and for this, he almost seems sad.
Appearance
The Demon King is described of being a particularly small humanoid figure. Not child-like, simply a small adult. He has upwards-slanted eyes of an incredibly deep blue color. He otherwise looks similar to other Celestial Dolls, and wears a golden crown ontop of his head.
History
Kamisunda Theater:
When Orphen was brought to the underground theater, the Demon King had finally found a sorcerer, after so many decades. However, the fact that he'd brought humans with him meant that he'd no longer be worthy of learning the truth of the Kamisunda Theater. This was an issue. Though he'd waited for so long, he set celestial dolls and dog monsters alike on the sorcerer. He could only watch as Orphen continued to dismantle the underground theater over the course of the battle, and just when Orphen thought he might have the upper hand, he revealed to him a vision of part of the true play: making him aware of a conversation that had transpired between Swedenboli and the Goddess of Fate. This did a fine job of distracting Orphen, who was subsequently expelled from the theater. Left outside, he and his comrades unconscious, the Demon King would've succeeded in leaving them to die had Azalie not shown up to slaughter the dog monsters in the area. Now sitting in ruin, he could only ponder how much longer they must wait for someone truly worthy of seeing the play, and accept that such a worthy person would probably never visit the Kamisunda Theater...
Skills
Play:
Though the Demon King doesn't show off many of his abilities, he confesses that he lacks the ability to attack visitors, so tends to leave that up to the Passage Keepers or the dog monsters. His role in this theater seems to be showing people the true play, which is revealed to them through visions. Even though the language of the play is one that no visitor would understand, he can also make them aware of what's going said through the power of his Silence Magic.
