 Currently Unknown

Appearance

Istershiva was depicted in a portrait found in Fort Basilicok, where she was depicted with green eyes and long green hair, wearing a priestess' robe.

History

Construction of the World Map Tower:

Istershiva was involved in the establishment of the World Map Tower, which was intended to be left the Nornir's offspring, the human sorcerers. Upon passing this Tower down, Istershiva gave a further statement, that "If ever you should have doubts about the world, look here."

The Sorcerer War:

Shortly after the Tower's construction, in spite of the fact that it had been intended to pass down to the sorcerers, the Wyrd Dragons began a war against their descendants. Istershiva is implied to have been involved in this war, as she was able to give final commandments to weapons left behind by her race, which were specifically made to kill human sorcerers. Their war completely leveled the city of Taphrem.

Death:

As the Nornir weakened from the poison of the Basilicok, they slowly disappeared from the continent, one by one. Istershiva was the last, and as her death rapidly approached, she declared that she would leave proof of her existence on the continent. She gave the Killing Dolls their final orders, to destroy the human race. They were to wait until the city had forgotten about the past, and then exterminate every sorcerer in the city. Then, once every sorcerer had been eliminated, they would mobilize in secret across the continent, and continue to carry out these orders.

Istershiva's motivations for this atrocious act are not known, though many theories exist. Some believe that it was jealousy of the sorcerers, who grew in power as theirs only weakened, and others believed that they were offended by the sorcerer's unique magical abilities. It was even considered that the Nornir, finally realizing that they were still suffering the effects of the Basilicok's poison, wanted to destroy the race to keep that poison from spreading across the continent.

Assorted Facts
