Mädchen's a bandit leader who first appeared as a tomb raider of the Kamisunda Theater. She's a tough woman, taking it upon herself to solve every problem that's presented to her, even if that isn't always in her best interest.

Appearance

Mädchen is described as having short black hair and a serious attitude about her. She adorns herself in heavy leather armor and carries a lightweight sword. Her hair is tied in a sky-blue cloth.

Personality

Mädchen is, perhaps, a little too serious. She isn't afraid to jump into battle, even against things that are objectively terrifying, such as celestial dolls. However, her recklessness has gotten people hurt before. She also seems to have a natural friction of irritation with Cleao.

History

Kamisunda Theater:

When Mädchen first entered the story it was under the guise of a group leader, the group acting as tomb raiders to rob old ruins of their valuables. While she entered Kamisunda Theater with several men, they all fell victim either to the theater's inherent dangers or to the vicious dog creatures that surrounded it. Though she tried desperately to save them all, she ultimately failed, even with the help of Orphen and his friends. Once she'd reached the underground sorting corridor, she was put under mind control by the celestial dolls and was to be a sacrifice to repair one of them. She got as far as being sealed inside the doll before Cleao managed to destroy it and pull her out. After Cleao had saved her life, Mädchen confessed that she'd only known the men for a short time, and had hired them herself.

She had, in actuality, been sent to the theater by Kimrak who periodically launched investigations into the ruin, in spite of countless casualties over the years. It was only because of a sorcerer's (Orphen's) presence that the true meaning behind the ruin was revealed. Her investigation complete, she declared that the sole remaining order for her mission was to kill any sorcerers she found. However, since she felt indebted to Cleao, she agreed to guide them north to the Kimrak Church instead, even if it meant becoming a traitor to Kimrak.
